Cumulative Oil & Gas Production

Section number, total depths, well names, & operator names have all been altered  to maintain confidentiality

Basic production map will show:

  • Well spots that show a well’s status (active, inactive)

  • Above, well spots labeled with current operator, lease name, & lease #

  • Below, well spots are labeled wellbore total depth (in units of feet)

  • A colored circle behind the well spot indicating the formation oil and gas are produced from. In some cases, the circle features multiple colors, indicating that the well has commingled two or more zones.

  • Two production volumes in the color that correlates to the producing formation color coded circle. The top number by a well spot correlates to the gas volume in units of BCF (billion cubic feet) the bottom number correlates to the oil volume in units of MBO (1000 barrels of oil)

Last date of production & latest average monthly production

Section number, total depths, well names, & operator names have all been altered  to maintain confidentiality

Variation 1 on Oil & Gas data:

  • Well spots that show a well’s status (active, inactive)

  • the well spot is labeled above with the current operator, lease name, & lease #

  • A colored circle behind the well spot indicating the formation oil and gas are produced from. In some cases, the circle features multiple colors, indicating that the well has commingled two or more zones.

  • The date written below the lease name is the last date of reported production

  • Two stacked values next to well spots now represent the calculated monthly average gas (red, in units of mcf) and oil (green, in units of BBL) each well is has produced using an average of the last 3 reported months of production

Initial Potential Volumes & Initial Completion dates

Section number, total depths, well names, & operator names have all been altered  to maintain confidentiality

Variation 2 on Oil & Gas data:

  • Well spots that show a well’s status (active, inactive)

  • The current operator of the Well, lease name, & lease #

  • A colored circle behind the well spot indicating the formation oil and gas are coming from. In some cases, the circle features multiple colors, indicating that the well has commingled two or more zones.

  • The date written below the lease name now displays the initial date of reported production

  • Two stacked values next to well spots now represent the initial potential (or IP) the well produced after it was drilled and completed. Gas IP in red (units of mcf) and oil IP in green (units of BBL).
